Kaka



Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite (born 22 April 1982), commonly known as Kaka or Ricardo Kaka, is a Brazilian football attacking midfielder who currently plays for Spanish La Liga Club Real Madrid and the Brazilian National Team.  Kaka started his footballing career at the age of eigt, when he began playing for a local club.  At the time, he also played tennis and it was not until he moved on to Sao Paulo FC and signed his first professional contract with the club at the age of 15 that he chose to focus on football.

In 2003, he joined Milan for a fee of 8.5 million Euro.  While at Milan, Kaka won the balloon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards in 2007.  After his success with Milan Kaka joined Real Madrid for a transfer fee of 65 million Euro, second only to Zinedine Zidane, 75 millsion Euro.  Later Real Madrid transferred Cristiano Ronaldo for a fee of 96 Millsion Euro setting a new transfer fee record, making Kaka’s free the third highest ever.  In addition, to his contributions on the pitch, Kaka is known for his humanitarian work.  In 2004, by the time of his appointment, he bacame the youngest ambassador of the UN World Food Programme.  Kaka was the first sportsperson to amass 10 million followers on Twitter.

Earlier Life of Ronaldinho



Ronaldinho was born in the city of Porto Alegre, the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul.  His mother, Dona Miguelina Eloi Assis dos Santos (daughter of Enviro Assis), is a former salesperson who studied to become a nurse.  His father, Joao de Assis Moreira, was a shipyard worker and footballer for local club Esporte Clube Cruzeiro (not to be confused with Cruzeiro).  He suffered a fata heart attack in the family swimming pool when Ronaldinho was eight.  After Ronaldinho’s older brother, Robert, signed with Gremio, the family moved to a home in the more affluent Guaruja section of Porto Alegre, which was a gift from Gremio to convince Roberto to stay at the club.  Roberto’s career was ultimately cut short by injury.

Ronaldinho’s football skills began to blossom at the age of 8, and he was first given the nickname Ronaldinho because he was often the youngest and the smallest player in the youth club matches.  He developed an interest in futsal and beach football, which later expanded to organized football.  His first brush with the media came at the age of thirteen, when he scored all 23 goals in a 23-0 victory against a local team.  Ronaldinho was identified as a rising star at the 1997 U-17 World Champsionship in Egypt, in which he scored two goals on penalty kick.

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira (Born 21 March 1980), commnly known as Ronaldinho or Ronaldinho Gaucho, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Brazilian Clug Atletico Mineiro.  His main playing position is as an attacking midfielder or forward.  He won the FIFA World Player of the Year Award in 2004 and 2005 and is widely regarded to be one of the best footballers of his generation.  Some people consider Ronaldinho to be the greatest player in the history of the game.


“Ronaldinho,” the diminutive and term of endearment for “Ronaldo,” is accompanied in Brazilian usage by the nickname “Gaucho” in order to distinguish him from fellow footballer and countrymah Ronaldo, who was known as “Ronaldinho” in Brazil eforehand.  Ronaldo simply went by his first name upon his move to Europe, thereby allowing Ronaldinho to drop the “Gaucho” and go by the name Ronaldinho abroad.  Prior to his move to Atletico Mineiro.  He played for Gremio, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Milan and Flamengo.  With the Spanish club, he won his first Champions League in 2006 and the Ballon d’Or in 2005.  He became a Spanish citizen in January 2007.  He was named to be the FIFA 100, a list of the greatest footballers complied by fellow countryman Pele, and to the FifPro World XI consecutively from 2004-2007.

Earlier life of David Beckham



Beckham was born at Whipps Cross University Hospital in Leytonstone, London, England.  He is the son of Sandra Georgina (nee West; b. 1949), a hairdresser, and David Edward Alan "Ted" Beckham (b. Edmonton, London, July-September 1948), a kitchen fitter, who married at the London Borough of Heckney in 1969.  He regularly played football in Ridgeway Park, Chingford, as a child, and attended Chase Lane Primary School and Chingford Foundation School.

In a 2007 interview, Beckham said that, "At school, whenever  the teachers asked, "What do you want to do when you're older?" I'd say, "I want to be a footballer."  And they'd say, "No, what do you really want to do, for a job?" But that was the only thing I ever wanted to do."  Beckham's maternal grandfather was Jewish, and Beckham has referred to himself as "half Jewish" and wrote in his autobiography, "I've probably had more contact with Judaism than with any other religion."  In his book, Both Feet on the Ground, he stated that growing up he attended church every week with his parents and his older sister, Lynne Georgina and younger sister, Joanne Louise.

David Beckham



David Robert Joseph Beckham, (Born on May 2, 1975) is an English former footballer.  He has played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, Los Angeles Galaxy, French Ligue, 1 Club Paris Saint-Germain, and the Engalnd National team for which he holds the appearance record for an outfield player, and also the first English player to win league titles in four countries.  He announced his intention to retire at the end of 2012-13 Ligue 1 season on 16 May 2013, and on 18 May 2013, played his final game of his storied 20-year career.


Beckhams's professional career began with Manchester United making his first-team debut in 1992 aged 17.  With United, Beckham won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, and the UEFA Champions league in 1999.  He then played four seasons with Real Madrid, winning the La Liga championship in his final season with the club.  In July 2007, Beckham signed a five-year contract with Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy.  While a Galaxy Player, he spent two loan spells in Italy with AC Milan in 2009 and 2010.
